The Rugby Intelligence Academy Skills Clinic is the perfect way for a player to start a new season. The clinic teaches both the basic and advanced physical skill sets necessary to be a
good rugby player as well as making participants more knowledgeable of the strategic requirements to play great rugby.

The course aims to build a solid foundation for players leading up to the rugby season.

Today opportunities have never been greater for young American rugby players. Rugby Scholarships are offered at some of the country’s best universities and excelling in rugby is now an opportunity to become an Olympian. The number of Americans playing professionally around the world is increasing significantly each year. For a young player to reach their full potential they need to be learning the same skills and strategies that players of their age are learning in the world leading rugby powerhouse of New Zealand.

New All Weather Turfed Fields!

synthetic turf

With the upcoming start of a new rugby season, we are excited to have brand new all weather turfed fields! This means more practice time, even after rain!! The Woodlands Park and Recreation upgraded the fields by replacing natural grass with all-weather turf, a synthetic surface manufactured to resemble natural grass. The materials used are UV (ultraviolet)-resistant, highly durable and can be used in all weather conditions.

To preserve the new fields, there are some rules that have been instituted. Please adhere to the following, the most important one is NO METAL CLEATS!

All Weather Turf Complex- to preserve the quality of the …turf and provide a clean and healthy environment, the following are not allowed on the all-weather turf fields:
