MATCH SCHEDULE 

U19 – 1:00PM.  So if you leave the fields after pictures, be back by 12:00 

U17 – 2:00.  So if you leave fields after pictures, be back no later than 1:00 and preferably come support U19 team. 

AFTER THE MATCH: 

We’ll be providing pizza and Gatorades for players. 

PARENTS: 

1.      If you have a canopy and don’t mind bringing, a little shade would be nice.

2.      Need a couple of coolers with ice to cool down beverages

3.      If you plan to contribute to either U19 or U17 basket, please bring $ or item to Sandy or I and we’ll add to respective team baskets.

4:00 PM    Strake Jesuit C.P. RFCs v. McAllen U19s
5:15 PM    Woodlands RFC U13s v. McAllen U13s

6:30 PM    Woodlands RFC U15s v. McAllen U15s

7:45 PM    St. Pius X High School RFC  v. McAllen U17s

As such I would like all the U15 there by 5:30 and the U13 to be there by 4:30.

 It will take about an hour and twenty minutes to get there. 

There will be a caravan heading out from The Woodlands High School.  Plan on a 6:45AM meet time for 7:00AM departure for the earliest set of matches.  For those that start later…if you don’t want to get there early, please be there 1.5 hours before your match. 

The following is from the coordination of the event: 

The tournament will be the same day as a large festival on campus called Chilli Fest. For this reason parking for Gareth Jones will be easiest if you use lots 100m or 100d, which are both located right next to the Penberthy Sports Complex. Please note that part of lot 100m will be reserved for the participants of the Challenger Rugby Game that afternoon.

No Tobacco or Firearm products

No Pets Allowed

No Bar-be-que Pits or Grilling Equipment

U-15    7-8pm

U-17    7-8pm

U-19    7-8:45pm

At 8:30 Sam Houston will be playing Rice University on our field.  Please stay and invite people to watch.

There is a USA International rugby game on as stated above.  We are trying to work with USA Rugby to get a block booking for the club and families to all attend together. 

This should be a high standard competitive game to watch and ideal for all the family. I have no clue on ticket cost yet, but I am trying to collect a tentative number as an indicator for volumes of who might like to attend.
